How and when did you first become interested in your field of study?

As early as I can remember, I always loved music and singing. Opera became my passion when I moved to New York City to study voice. My roommate/best friend, Cyrus Di Tommaso was an opera guru & an usher at The Met led me to Opera world.

What made you decide to pursue a career in higher education?

During my DMA study as a teaching assistant, I found out how much I enjoyed helping young singers achieve excellence.

Why did you choose to be a part of the academic community at USF?

The unique opportunity a Research I institution can offer.

What do you enjoy about teaching the students of USF?

The willingness and receptiveness of students. They motivate me to work harder on my research area as a scholar, teacher, and a performer.

What do you like about the university community?

So far I am really enjoying te benefits only a large and vibrant university can offer.
