As the Associate Vice President for Academic Programs & Educational Outreach, Dr. Kathleen Moore's responsibilities include academic program development and support, accreditation, and the University's Educational Outreach functions. She maintains the USF degree inventory; coordinates the program review process; assists academic units in development and preparation of proposals for new degree programs; serves as the institutional liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS); maintains the University's official record of accredited programs; maintains the university's official inventory of institutes and centers and coordinates the annual report; and provides oversight for Educational Outreach activities including USF Downtown Center operations. Dr. Moore also serves as principal staff to the Board of Trustees Workgroup on Academics and Campus Environment (ACE).
Dr. Moore has been a member of the Provost's staff since 1990. She holds a B.A. in Modern Languages from the University of Durham, a M.S. in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Adult Education) from the University of South Florida.
