Vision

Nothing is more important to the University of South Florida than the success of its students.  The Office of Student Success strives to create and sustain an enriching, student-focused learning environment in which students are empowered to attain their life and career objectives.  Students who enter are expected to graduate in a timely manner, satisfied with and proud of their USF experience, and with reasonable financial indebtedness.  Their USF experience will enable students to enter and succeed in the global economy or enter graduate, professional, or post-doctoral programs, having acquired the skills, knowledge, and dispositions to succeed in any endeavor they pursue.

Mission

The Office of Student Success, through its three departments: Undergraduate Admissions, University Scholarships and Financial Aid Services, and the Office of the University Registrar, recruits college-ready students, supports them with financial aid and scholarships, and monitors their academic progress and completion.  The Office also coordinates and promotes university-wide efforts to enhance undergraduate and graduate student success, primarily through a university-wide Student Success Council.  In collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and the community, the Student Success Team will create a positive environment designed to enrich all aspects of the student experience and ensure that every student who enters USF has the opportunity to succeed.
